A picture is worth a thousand words, and thousands of images were captured along the way, yet some experiences reside best in memory.
For a variety of reasons, some images and experiences can’t be captured two dimensionally.
Some views not captured “on film” were those of awe-inspiring art by many masters from throughout the ages.
For instance, the only way to remember and share the view and experience of the Sistine Chapel ceiling is through books, web sites, or — better yet — to travel there yourself and see it in person.
